Daphne Fielding

Hon. Daphne Winifred Louise Fielding (née Vivian; 11 July 1904 – 5 December 1997) was a popular British author in the 20th century.
==Family==
Fielding was the daughter of George Vivian, 4th Baron Vivian, and Barbara (née Fanning). She married, firstly, Henry Thynne, 6th Marquess of Bath, on 27 October 1927; they were divorced in 1953. She was known as the Marchioness of Bath. The couple had five children:
*Lady Caroline Jane Thynne (1928–1995), married David Somerset, 11th Duke of Beaufort and had issue.
*Thomas Timothy Thynne (1929–1930), died in infancy.
*Alexander George Thynn, 7th Marquess of Bath (b. 6 May 1932)
*Lord Christopher John Thynne (b. 9 April 1934), married Antonia Palmer, daughter of Sir Anthony Palmer, 4th Baronet, and had issue.
*Lord Valentine Charles Thynne (1937–1979), married firstly, Veronica Jacks and had issue. He married secondly, Susanne Alder and married thirdly, Liese Dennis.
She married, secondly, Major Alexander Wallace Fielding on 11 July 1953; they were divorced in 1978.
